Ballston Spa Youth Lacrosse Spring 2023 Learn to Play Program
Program Goals and Philosophy:
Lacrosse is growing in popularity more and more every year. Our Learn to Play Program is designed to introduce the “fastest game on two feet” to players at the very youngest ages. A major focus will be placed on learning the basic skills of the game including ground balls, passing and catching techniques, and shooting. In addition to learning the skills of the game, a prime focus will be placed on recognizing the importance of physical fitness and of demonstrating good sportsmanship both on and off the field. We will be teaching these skills and techniques and using games and fun drills to learn the skill. Above all else, the ultimate goal is for each player to have as much fun as possible! Our Learn to Play Program is designed to be an exciting learning experience for all athletes in grades K-2. This program is for boys in grades K-2.
