Ballston Spa Youth Lacrosse Spring 2024 Grade 3-4 Team
Program Goals and Philosophy:
Lacrosse is growing in popularity more and more every year. The 3-4 lacrosse program is designed to introduce the “fastest game on two feet” to players at the very youngest ages. A major focus will be placed on learning the basic rules and skills of the game including ground balls, passing and catching techniques, cradling, competitiveness, shooting, and basic offensive and defensive knowledge through drills, small sided games, and games. In addition to learning the skills of the game, a prime focus will be placed on recognizing the importance of physical fitness and of demonstrating good sportsmanship both on and off the field. Above all else, the ultimate goal is for each player to have as much fun as possible and build a love for the game. Our program is designed to be an exciting learning experience for all athletes.
