Program Goals and Philosophy:

Lacrosse is growing in popularity more and more every year.  The 3-4 lacrosse program is designed to introduce the “fastest game on two feet” to players at the very youngest ages.  A major focus will be placed on learning the basic rules and skills of the game including ground balls, passing and catching techniques, cradling, shooting, and basic offensive and defensive knowledge through drills, small sided games, and games.  In addition to learning the skills of the game, a prime focus will be placed on recognizing the importance of physical fitness and of demonstrating good sportsmanship both on and off the field.  Above all else, the ultimate goal is for each player to have as much fun as possible and build a love for the game.  Our program is designed to be an exciting learning experience for all athletes.

U.S. Lacrosse Membership Required:

Each player must be registered with U.S. Lacrosse as a player to register for our program. The cost to register as a player is $30 yearly membership and $15 for players 6 and under.  Click here to be directed to U.S. Lacrosse Website.

Practices:

Practices and games will be held on Tuesday & Thursday 6:00-7:30 PM and Saturday mornings beginning in early April.  Our 3/4 coaches also coach the HS teams so we may have to move a practice time if there is a game and will update .  We will have a schedule of games after our scheduling meeting in early March.  Before our fields are clear, we may have the opportunity to conduct an indoor practice as part of the pre-season and Coach Snow will let you know if we are able to provide that opportunity.
